Research Projects:
- Building Resilience
The research is conducted in collaboration with researchers from the University of Oklahoma. The aim of the study is to identify the level of resiliency against natural hazards for LEED Certified projects. Also, the study seeks to determine the strategies in which resilience of such facilities can be improved.
- Project Team Safety
The research is conducted in collaboration with Mr. Abhijeet Shete. The study seeks to examine the risk-taking behavior among construction workers at construction sites with an emphasis on factors such as loneliness, anxiety, and peer pressure felt experienced by the workers on the site.
- Building Information Modeling Outsourcing
Mr. James Fountain identified outsourcing patterns among General Contractors that implement Building Information Modeling (BIM) on Construction Projects. The research project is conducted in collaboration with JB Knowledge, and data collected was from 300 General Contractors aims to identify reasons for outsourcing and impact of globalization on the US construction industry.
